"To learn and never know is wisdom.
To teach and never grow weary is love."

Yoga is an ancient wisdom tradition from India passed down from teacher to student to integrate body, mind, and spirit. The earliest yogis explored the nature of their own minds and bodies to better understand the world around them and the mysteries inherent in the universe of the physical body.
It is a far richer tradition than what is commonly known and practiced as physical exercise today, but a daily asana practice (especially in a group setting) has a multitude of health and wellness benefits in our modern world.

Classes are offered freely because we want these benefits accessible to all regardless of one's ability to pay, regardless of what one's body does or doesn't look like, regardless of what one's body can and cannot do.

We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for people of all genders, races, classes, cultures, ethnicities, and abilities.
It is our intention to be actively anti-racist, anti-classist, anti-ableist, and anti-ageist. That being said, we understand the limitations of being raised in the systemically unjust United States and that we are intersecting with an ancient cultural practice from the Indian sub-continent.
